Joe Sanders is an award-winning composer, arranger, and producer based in the Los Angeles area. From an early age Joe has lived and breathed music. Growing up in an artistic family he was inspired to begin his musical path starting with the violin. After teaching himself several other instruments and playing in orchestras and rock bands, he decided to pursue writing music professionally.

While attending the Bob Cole Conservatory at CSU Long Beach Joe was selected to be a part of the inaugural class of Game Audio Network Guild's Scholars Program and also performed in various prestigious venues including the TED Conference for Eric Whitacre's Virtual Choir Live and the American Choral Directors Association.

Shortly after graduating, Joe was awarded both the Grand Prize and Lennon Award for World Music in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for his ending credits song 'Kundiman' from The Last Arrow. He also participated in the selective Society of Composers and Lyricists Mentor Program and completed an internship with acclaimed media composer Dominic Lewis. These opportunities led him to start working with fiercely skilled guitarist and composer Mark Phillips, who has invited Joe to work on many projects including doing arrangements for Mark's breakout album project The Black Operator, which features heavy hitters such as Mike Garson (David Bowie's pianist) and Thomas Pridgeon (The Mars Volta).

On his own front, Joe has worked on a multitude of exciting projects including music for feature films that have been awarded at film festivals, music for TV shows including Marvel's Inhumans, video games that have trended on the App Store, and musical arrangements/production for various pop artists. Videos featuring his music have over 100 million combined views on YouTube. Joe is best known for his haunting melodies, unique harmonic palettes, and eclectic influences.
