Joe Sanders is an award-winning composer, arranger, and performer based in the Los Angeles area. From an early age Joe has lived and breathed usic. Growing up he was inspired by his artistic family to pursue erforming, which began with playing violin. After teaching himself several other instruments and playing in orchestras and rock bands, he decided to pursue writing music professionally.
Recently, Joe won the coveted Grand Prize as well as the Lennon Award in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for his song 'Kundiman' from the video game The Last Arrow. He has also participated in two highly competitive music industry programs to date, the SCL Mentor Program and Game Audio Network Guild Scholars. Videos featuring his music have over 70 million combined views on YouTube. At any given time he is working on multitude of creative projects including film scores, music for TV, video games, and arranging for pop artists.
A graduate of the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University Long Beach, Joe had the privilege to study with Perry La Marca, a veteran composer and orchestrator of Los Angeles and a former student of Bruce Broughton. In addition to writing music, Joe maintains a busy schedule singing professionally and has performed on many stages including Walt Disney Concert Hall, the TED conference, and Sunset Blvd. rock and roll clubs.
